After contracting a severe case of corporate burn out recently, Andrea decided to take a voluntary redundancy from the rat race to follow the road less travelled and focus on her true passion—writing.

Based in Melbourne, Andrea is a freelance writer, editor and occasional designer who has written reviews and features about some of her favourite things—film, literature, live performance, sustainable living and social commentary.

She earned her stripes with a Bachelor of Arts in Media and Literature (Swinburn Uni), a Graduate Diploma in Arts Management (Melbourne Uni) and the Diploma of Professional Writing and Editing in 2008 (RMIT).

In 2006 and 2007 she created and managed the inaugural professional development program at literary love-in, the Melbourne Writers' Festival.
